I Make America's August Recap

AEM and I Make America went to Pennsylvania to celebrate Volvo Construction Equipment's first electric asphalt compactor, which was designed and is produced at the company's Shippensburg facility. I Make America, along with U.S. Representative John Joyce, celebrated the Shippensburg facility's more than 800 employees during the visit.

Volvo also celebrated the opening of its new technical training center on the same campus, which will train Pennsylvania workers and provide family-sustaining jobs. Read more...

[?] FAA REAUTHORIZATION: We sent out information about the upcoming FAA funding reauthorization, which occurs every five years. The 2023 reauthorization will provide the funding necessary to maintain safe and reliable airport terminals, taxiways, and tarmacs across the United States! [?][?] STATE SESSION WRAP-UP: Only 9 states are still in session, and the rest will not pass any legislation for the rest of 2023. Several notable pieces of legislation passed so far this year, including increased funding for Iowa dairy farmers, legislation to fast-track infrastructure projects in California, and increased research & development credit refundability in Wisconsin.
