The question, two years later, remains: What is Tish James trying to hide?
The answer: A lot.
As the Washington Post reported last week, one of James’ “key sources” now admits that most of what she told the public was "trading in office gossip" and blamed the media for identifying her as an accuser. “It felt like I was just thrown into this group of women who said the Governor sexually harassed me and I wanted to be clear that the Governor didn’t sexually harass me,” she said.
This is on top of what was uncovered already. Witness intimidation and perjury was blatant, exculpatory evidence was ignored and, as the Washington Post reported, the investigative work behind the report was “selective” and slanted against Governor Cuomo. Five district attorneys - men, women, Democrat, Republican, upstate and downstate, all took a look at the report and didn't bring a single case. As the Daily News stated, the report itself was never litigated and that’s how the Attorney General wants it.
New Yorkers, however, are not stupid and demand that the truth be told.
We won’t rest until it is.
As always, thank you for your support and your friendship.
