The American Legion is the nation's largest wartime veterans service organization aimed at advocating patriotism across the U.S. and I have taken a pledge to honor their efforts when I serve We The People in Congress.

I, Julie Clark, hereby pledge my unwavering support to the American Legion and its invaluable mission of advocating for and safeguarding the rights and well-being of veterans, promoting Americanism of ‘God and Country’ across our great nation. 

If it weren’t for Veterans, there would be no United States of America. They shall never be forgotten and shall forever be treated with dignity and respect due to the sacrifices they have made for all of us. Veterans should be a priority for our government and should not lose funding to cover other government shortfalls, especially to fund illegal immigration.

I pledge to:

Maintain an Open Door Policy: I will always keep lines of communication open between my office and the American Legion leadership. Their perspectives, suggestions, and concerns will be treated with the utmost respect, and I am committed to working collaboratively to find effective solutions.

Protect Veterans' Rights: I recognize the need to safeguard the rights and benefits earned by veterans through their service to our country. I will stand firm in protecting and upholding these rights, advocating for policies that honor the sacrifices of our veterans.

Promote Veterans' Well-Being: Mental health, healthcare, employment opportunities, and housing are critical aspects of veterans' well-being. I will work to create and support programs that address these areas, ensuring that our veterans receive the care and assistance they rightfully deserve.

Advocate for Legislative Initiatives: I pledge to actively support and sponsor legislation that aligns with the American Legion's objectives, working tirelessly to make positive changes in areas that impact veterans' lives.
