CAPITOL CAMPUS UPDATE





Expect noise, sidewalk closures near Sunken Garden on West Capitol Campus Sept. 14, 15

*Scope & Impact: *Visitors to the West Capitol Campus should expect noise from pruning saws and chippers. Some sidewalks will be closed, and pedestrians will be rerouted around the work zone for safety.

*Where:* East of the Sunken Garden on West Capitol Campus

*When:* 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14 and Friday, Sept. 15

*Why: *An elderly Norway maple tree will be pruned, and the cables holding up its branches will be replaced to maintain the tree's health and ensure public safety around it.

"All work is weather dependent. The Washington State Department of Enterprise Services has contracted with Treewalker at Olympia for this effort."
