This fall harvest season, we have a lot to thank bees for. Rows of pumpkins and squash are ripening on the vine. Trees of plums and apples are growing heavy with fruit -- all thanks to bees!
But it’s no secret that bees are dying at alarming rates. And toxic pesticides like Bayer-Monsanto’s neonics are playing a huge role in their decline. Alternative methods like organic farming would help save them. But the pesticide industry has our farming system hooked on these bee-killing pesticides. This fall, it’s never been more important to STOP dangerous pesticides from harming more bees. Donate $27 today and help us reach our $2,130 goal to stand up to the pesticide industry and protect pollinators and the planet!
I can’t overstate how damaging Bayer-Monsanto’s neonics are for insects. Since the 1990s, U.S. agriculture has become 48x more toxic to insect life. That’s primarily due to neonic usage. And we’re seeing the impacts. In the same time span, we’ve lost a staggering 90% of the Western Bumblebee population. The pesticide industry is contaminating our food system. And bees are paying the price.
The truth is that these deaths could be avoidable, Friend. With organic farming practices, we could protect pollinators and the future of our food supply. But pesticide companies spend MILLIONS on misinformation campaigns. All to deny and distract from the real damage they’re doing and to undermine consumer confidence in organic. Enough is enough: it’s time to stand up for pollinators and secure a future for vulnerable bees and our planet.
Help get bee-killing neonics OUT of our food system and protect our planet. Donate $27 today!

We need bees for a healthy and functioning planet. In fact, we have bees and other pollinators to thank for 1 in every 3 bites of food we eat. That’s right: from strawberries to melons to tomatoes, these little pollinators help bring food to our table. Almonds wouldn’t even exist without them!
But neonics are poisoning bees as you read this -- endangering our food system. These harmful pesticides attack bees’ nervous systems. They can harm their ability to navigate, find food, fight pests and diseases, and even reproduce. Not to mention, they can KILL BEES ON CONTACT!
To make matters worse, neonics are the most widely used insecticide in the WORLD. That means countless bees are being subjected to their impacts. In fact, 2022 was one of the deadliest years on record for honeybee colonies in the U.S. We lost nearly 40% of them.
Things can’t go on like this much longer, Friend. But there’s still hope to turn things around. The EPA has the chance to ban bee-killing neonics. But there’s a possibility they could instead approve them for another 15 years. If that happens, there could be devastating consequences for pollinators AND our food system. That’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Without action, we could lose hundreds of wild bee species forever. There’s too much at stake to let the pesticide industry keep its death grip on our food system.
Stand up to the pesticide industry before many species of wild bees go extinct. Donate $27 today and help us reach our $2,130 goal for pollinators and the planet!

I hate to say it, but it gets worse. Neonics don’t just harm pollinators. They impact people, too. Residues of these chemicals are found inside the food you eat. This means you can’t wash or peel them off!
Neonics have been linked to autism, hormone disruption, and even birth defects of the heart and brain. And according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, about HALF of the U.S. population is exposed to them on a regular basis! Friend, how long will we let the pesticide industry cover up their destructive impacts? All the while, pollinators and people are being poisoned on a daily basis.
Even the EPA has acknowledged that neonics cause serious harm to pollinators. But the pesticide industry is fighting tooth and nail to keep its control over our food system. All for the sake of profit. That’s why Friends of the Earth is doing everything we can to stop the pesticide industry and save our pollinators and the planet. But we can’t make a difference without help from generous supporters like you, Friend.
Your membership gift today will help fuel our work to protect pollinators and stand up to greedy corporations that are destroying our planet. If just 13 more activists from your area donate today, we can give pollinators and the planet a fighting chance against the powerful pesticide industry. But we’re facing intense pushback, and we’re falling short of our goal. Will you rush your $27 membership contribution before midnight tonight to help us reach our $2,130 goal before it’s too late?
Greedy corporations are putting profit over pollinators and the planet. Donate $27 and take a stand today!
