As you know, fixing healthcare is why I'm running for Virginia Senate. By holding PBMs accountable, I will lower prices and protect access of health

Happy (Belated) Labor Day!

As many of us took this weekend to recognize the American labor movement - the progress made and the advancements we have yet to make for workers - I’d like to expand the focus to another group that has yet to experience a consequential movement.

This group is routinely victim of crony capitalism and hyper-profiting from pain: PATIENTS
* Virginians spend 36% more per person on (already too expensive) prescription drugs than the national average.
* Many health insurance companies use middlemen, known as pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), to decide what people can get and what they pay out of pocket.

They make money by INFLATING PRICES and DENYING COVERAGE for life saving medications.

How’s this allowed in Virginia?

Getting in between doctors & physicians and making medications cost more than is absolutely necessary is… as I said in my Loudoun Now interview ([link removed]) :

“SICK, EVIL, UNNECESSARY BUSINESS.”

Watch Greg’s latest video where he visited a small, local Virginia pharmacy and learned about the games big corporations are playing to charge drastic fees and block coverage.

I Visited a Virginia Pharmacy & Found How PBMs Prey on Patients (I'm running for Senate to fix it)
MAKE A SMALL CONTRIBUTION ([link removed])

As you know, fixing healthcare is why I got into this race. By holding the pharmaceutical middlemen, like PBMs, accountable, as Senator I will:
* Lower prescription drug prices!
* Protect access to healthcare!

But we won’t get the healthcare access we deserve by hoping the same politicians - that gave middlemen a free pass to profit from patients in the first place - have a change of mind.

These Virginia politicians take over $10,000s from pharmaceutical middlemen ([link removed]) and personally invest tens of thousands of dollars into the biggest PBM company (CVS/Caremark) ([link removed]) that’s hurting patients, like my opponent, Suhas Subramanyam, who has done both.

In August, Greg Moulthrop held a healthcare roundtable with physicians, pharmacists, nurses, patients, and other healthcare professionals to discuss solutions to increase access and lower costs.
DONATE TO OUR HEALTHCARE MOVEMENT ([link removed])

I’m a patient, caregiver, and a healthcare entrepreneur fighting for patients every day.

I hope to earn the support of voters, like you, in my district in eastern Loudoun County (Senate District 32) so that I’ll have the honor of introducing and passing bipartisan legislation that makes Virginia a better place for healthcare.

BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! Contribute your…
* TIME: Can you sign up to volunteer ([link removed]) ?
* TALENTS: Whether it’s writing, social media, or fundraising, can you share your talents ([link removed]) to advance our campaign?
* TREASURE: Can you chip in $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, or even $1,000 ([link removed]) to help us purchase yard signs, print flyers, and promote the movement?

Thank you for all of your help! Together, we will win this open pickup seat to bring healthcare solutions and advance conservative values in Virginia.

Wishing you and your loved ones all the best! I'm hoping to speak with you soon about the challenges our local community faces that we can solve together.

At your service,
Greg Moulthrop
Your candidate for Virginia Senate District 32
