Ken Paxton has created such a legacy of crime and corruption within his Office of Attorney General that Texas House Republicans determined Paxton’s crimes against the public were grave enough to warrant the first impeachment of an elected official in Texas in over 50 years. Today, the Impeachment Trial of Ken Paxton begins in the Texas Senate.
No one is above the law, Friend -- especially a state’s chief law enforcement officer. The AG’s office is rife with criminality and corruption, and that is solely because of our Attorney General, and his group of Paxton Republican cronies who have carried water for him. His legacy of corruption will long outlast his time in office.
Our Paxton Accountability War Room is working hard to shed light on Paxton’s crimes and his violation of the public trust, and to show Texans that even when Paxton is removed from office, his legacy of corruption in the Attorney General’s office will last as long as Republicans control the office.
