Roy’s spent his entire tenure as governor fighting to make health care more affordable and accessible because he knows that every one of us deserves the care we need to stay healthy.

But in rural areas of NC, hospitals have been struggling to keep their doors open. When they’re forced to close, communities suffer.

That’s just one of the reasons why getting Medicaid Expansion enacted is so important; it’ll provide critical federal funding to keep rural hospitals and health centers open for business.

John, 11 rural hospitals have had to shut down or make changes to their services just this year. But Republicans have refused to enact the Medicaid Expansion plan they agreed to that would help save our rural health care options.
