WORLDNETDAILY — Former Republican Jennifer Rubin wrote an opinion piece for The Washington Post last week criticizing Trump attorney John Eastman's defense in the California bar disbarment trial against him. Unlike her, I've watched every minute of the trial, which is going into the third week. The bar is desperately trying to show there was no legal authority for Eastman to advise Trump that Mike Pence could have rejected electoral slates from states suspected of election fraud, but as more evidence comes out, their case is getting weaker and weaker.... ROBERT SPENCER — Up to now, the Washington Post’s resident “Fact-Checker” Glenn Kessler has been a loyal propagandist for the leftist establishment, never breaking character or giving any sign that he was interested in or even capable of independent thought. Even Kessler, however, seems to have finally had enough of Old Joe Biden’s constant lying. On Thursday, Kessler made what for the WaPo amounted to a remarkable admission: much of what Old Joe blathers on about is not “credible.” That’s a polite way of saying that the faux president is a liar.... TRISTAN JUSTICE — A coalition of more than 1,600 scientists critical of their peers’ hyperbolic claims about climate change drew a prominent recruit to sign their 2019 declaration that the climate “emergency” is a myth. John Clauser, who won last year’s Nobel Prize in physics, became the second Nobel laureate last month to sign the document with 1,607 other scientists rebuking the idea of a climate crisis.... Referenced text message where Hunter told about percentage of money he gave to Joe
WORLDNETDAILY — A Washington Post reporter left a recent podcast after the host raised questions about allegations of corruption involving President Joe Biden and his family. Noam Dworman interviewed Philip Bump, a Washington Post columnist, during the Aug. 24 episode of his show. Dworman noted a text message where Hunter Biden told his daughter about the percentage of money he gave to President Biden.... (more)

TOWNHALL — Many factors were at play regarding why the Hunter Biden bribery scandal was buried for so long. The media didn’t care. The political class and their allies interfered in the investigations into the president’s son, which kept the story hidden. And half the country was duped into thinking this was a Russian disinformation operation launched during the final weeks of the 2020 election.... (more)

Presidential 'electors' had affirmed they were 'nominees'
BOB UNRUH — The Georgia prosecutor who created a nearly 100-page indictment against President Donald Trump and more than a dozen others, accusing them of trying to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in her state, had evidence exonerating multiple defendants at the time she filed the counts, according to a new report.... Classmates are putting 'Don't Tread on Me' on their lockers
WORLDNETDAILY — Jaiden Rodriguez, the 12-year-old who was kicked out of his seventh-grade class in Colorado Springs by a school administration made up of people who clearly need to go back to school themselves, is back with his fellow students after a quick win against ignorance. Rodriguez had been told he could not come back to The Vanguard School, a charter school, until he removed a Gadsden flag patch from his backpack -- because of the administration's erroneous belief that the flag was somehow connected to American slavery.... Preemptively rejects repeat of school closures, lockdowns, mask and vaccine mandates
PETER LABARBERA — Former President Donald Trump in a campaign video Wednesday made a defiant reply to "left-wing lunatics" and "COVID tyrants" who are "trying very hard to bring back COVID lockdowns and mandates with their sudden fear-mongering about variants": "We will not comply." Trump mocked the timing of the resurgent COVID hysteria, saying, "Gee-whiz, you know what else is coming? An election."... (more)

'The populace can be kept in a state of repeated anxiety'
PETER LABARBERA — As Joe Biden and liberal corporate and social media ramp up their talk about masking up and a new COVID booster-shot campaign, conservatives and those who no longer "trust the science," to quote a widely ridiculed narrative, are bracing for a new wave of COVID hysteria. Many speculate the resurgence of COVID fear-mongering is timed for election season – as there is near unanimity among Republicans that restrictive COVID policies were used to "rig" or tilt the 2020 election rules in Biden's and the Democrats' favor.... 'This school is really really really stupid'
BOB UNRUH — A Colorado school has booted a 12-year-old boy from class for having a patriotic flag patch on his backpack, charging that such emblems are not allowed around other children. The mother of Jaiden Rodriguez, stunned that the school is exhibiting such viewpoint censorship and absolute intolerance for the Gadsden Flag, which stems from the Revolutionary war, accused the school of "one-sided" censorship.... 'The administration is a corrupt mob. This is a horror'
BOB UNRUH — Actor Jon Voight has issued a warning to America, more than a year before the next presidential election but just as Democrats have unleashed their full battery of weapons against President Donald Trump. "What are we to do…. This is now a war, a war against all of us," he said. "The Biden administration is a corrupt mob and the Obama administration fuels the cycle."... (more)

A&R SKABELUND — What does it take to get the Salt Lake Tribune to issue a correction for a patently false assertion? To answer this rhetorical question, I am forced to admit I don’t know; to date, as I hit publish on Substack, the Salt Lake Tribune still hasn’t corrected the blatantly erroneous assertion that George Washington didn’t pray. Even after two Twitter engagements; an email to Mark Eddington, the reporter who wrote the article; an email to David Noyce, Salt Lake Tribune managing editor; an email to Benjamin Park, the professor whom the article cites as the source of this false assertion; and a courteous response from Professor Park thanking me for pointing out the error with a promise that he would inform the editors of it, the article still says, “George Washington didn’t pray.”... ROBERT SPENCER — Just in case you have any lingering doubt about what the Democrats plan to inflict upon America, consider the case of Tim Hernández, whom Colorado party apparatchiks have just selected to fill a vacant state House seat in the Denver area. The charming Hernández is an open and proud Marxist, frequently rails against “Whiteness,” and has called for a “FORCEFUL Cultural Revolution.” He is also, of course, a schoolteacher, busy raising up new cadres of Bolsheviks to bring about the revolution he desires. Every Marxist revolution in history has been accompanied by appalling bloodlust; if Hernández ever gets what he wants, Coloradans can’t say they didn’t see it coming.... (more)

NEWSMAX — In a Sunday post on Truth Social, Donald Trump called on House Republicans to commence an impeachment inquiry, accusing President Joe Biden of engaging in corrupt activities. "The Republicans in Congress, though well-meaning, keep talking about an Impeachment 'Inquiry' on Crooked Joe Biden. Look, the guy got bribed, he paid people off, and he wouldn't give One Billion Dollars to Ukraine unless they 'got rid of the Prosecutor.' Biden is a Stone-Cold Crook.... (more)

Maui locals: 'You guys are not seeing the same news as what's actually going on'
JOE KOVACS — Hollywood actor James Woods is joining the chorus of Americans outraged about this month's wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui. "Someday after all the land is appropriated, Hollywood will make a movie about this," Woods said Sunday, as he shared a video featuring survivor accounts in the wake of the blazing catastrophe. "Rich people in tuxedoes will celebrate their compassion and give each other little gold statues. And then everything will be forgotten," Woods predicted.... (more)

'Not what they thought it would be'
WORLDNETDAILY — Fox News host Jesse Watters said Friday that the media miscalculated how former President Donald Trump’s mugshot would impact people. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office released Trump’s mugshot Thursday night. Trump turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail to be booked after a grand jury handed down indictments Aug. 14, charging Trump and other associates, including former Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani of New York City and attorneys Jenna Ellis, John Eastman and Sidney Powell.... JOSEPH FARAH — When Elizabeth and I founded WorldNetDaily, or WND.com, it debuted as the first internet-only journalism organization back in 1997. It was also an avowedly conservative and Christian publication. It still is, 26 years later. In the early days of American newspapers, most were founded as Christian. Just as Yale, Harvard and many of the first universities were founded as Christian institutions, so were newspapers. Sometimes, for many generations in fact, newspapers and universities promoted and advanced America's Christian culture.... (more)

Wayne Allyn Root praises Ramaswamy, though says he still needs to be vetted
WAYNE ALLYN ROOT — We learned several things from the GOP debate Wednesday night. Former President Donald J. Trump was the biggest winner – by a mile. First, he won by not showing up and having to lower himself to fight the entire gang of also-rans who want his old job. Second, by not participating, Trump won by taking all the attention away from the competition – thereby depriving anyone on that stage of gaining ground on Trump's huge 40-point lead.... (more)

WORLDNETDAILY — I will probably lose good friends over this, but it has to be said. Traditional unions, such as the Autoworkers or Longshoreman, perform a valuable service for their members. FLORIDIAN PRESS — As mask mandates return in certain parts of the country, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo is telling people to not comply. "What do you call re-imposing mask policies that have been proven ineffective or restarting lockdowns that are known to cause harm?" posted Ladapo on X this morning. "You don't call it sanity. These terrible policies only work with your cooperation. How about refusing to participate"... (more)

JOHN GIZZI — More than a few political prognosticators who do not have a favorite Republican candidate told Newsmax on Wednesday night that the true winner of the first GOP presidential debate was actually the contender who sat it out. "The winner was [former President] Donald Trump and the losers were all candidates not named Donald Trump," said historian and Chapman University Prof. Luke Nichter. "And the key moment was when the others tried to be combative and Trump-like to try to break through."... (more)

Says ‘The winner was Trump’
THE HILL — Megyn Kelly went after Fox News’s first GOP presidential debate Wednesday night, calling the evening “lame,” with poor questions and without a clear winner. Eight of the nine top candidates faced off in Milwaukee in the race’s first debate, with former President Trump absent. Kelly, a former Fox News personality, didn’t seem impressed by her former employer’s production, posting during the debate, “I’m bored.”... (more)
