Happy Labor Day, friend! ,

I wanted to reach out personally because Labor Day is a special holiday for me. As we celebrate the invaluable contributions of America's workforce, I’m filled with immense pride and gratitude for the men and women who form the foundation of our economy.

But for too long, American workers have been getting shortchanged. Costs are rising and wages just aren’t keeping up. That’s why I’m committed to championing policies that give workers a fair shake. That means rejuvenating high tech manufacturing, expanding skills training, and providing stable, living wages.

As we mark this Labor Day, let’s come together and reaffirm our shared commitment to supporting the backbone of our society— America’s hardworking families. Because, as former Senator Paul Wellsone once said; “We all do better when we all do better.”
