Happy Labor Day!
Today, we celebrate the incredible strength and determination of all of the workers who power our nation. Labor Day is an opportunity to recognize the victories of the labor movement – and to recommit ourselves to fight for workers’ rights.
Unions have shaped our nation for the better. When working people come together and bargain for better wages and safer conditions, we all benefit.
When I’m in Congress, I’ll be a fearless champion for workers’ rights. I’ll work to secure better jobs and higher wages – and I’ll fight tooth and nail to protect the right to organize.
That’s why I’m proud to share that I’ve been endorsed by the Orange County Labor Federation (OCLF), which represents over 90 local unions .
The OCLF joins unions like the Los Angeles/Orange County Building & Construction Trades Council and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Joint Council 42 in supporting my campaign.
It’s clear that I’m the choice of organized labor in this race.
On this Labor Day, let's celebrate the labor movement and continue fighting for fair wages, safe working conditions, and economic justice for all.
Thanks for being a part of this fight.
In solidarity,
Kim

Democrat Kim Bernice Nguyen is running for Congress in CA-45, one of the most competitive districts in the entire nation. The daughter of a Vietnamese refugee and a Mexican immigrant, Kim's story is the quintessential California tale of sacrifice, hard work, and dedication to community. At just 25, she became the youngest person ever elected to the Garden Grove City Council. Now, she's running for Congress to reduce prescription drug costs, increase housing affordability, invest in working families, and strengthen our democracy.
