Together, we’ll build a workforce that protects, uplifts, and supports all working people, no matter what.
Happy Labor Day, John!
Since 1882, working people in America have taken Labor Day to honor not just the work they’ve done, but the battles they’ve won.
The power of organized labor has never been understated — we’ve moved mountains in the fight for progress. And that is why I will continue to fight for a better life for us all.
Every day, I am honored to stand and fight alongside working people all across America. Together, we’ll build a workforce that protects, uplifts, and supports all working people, no matter what.
Without labor unions, we wouldn’t have the weekend, overtime pay, workplace safety rules, child labor laws, and so much more. Working people have secured every major labor law we have in America.
And even now, Republican legislatures are working hard to roll back these laws on behalf of their big corporate donors. In several states, Republicans have been playing the long game to strip away child labor laws and expand roles for minors — even going as far as to let them serve alcohol in bars and restaurants as young as 14 years old.1
John, we must all come together to fight for pro-worker legislation by supporting our collective progressive agenda, uplifting Democrats, and continuing to build a movement rooted in love and compassion. Can you donate $3 to our campaign to fuel our efforts?
