Happy Labor Day!

I hope you’re taking the time to enjoy this holiday weekend, while also keeping in mind why we celebrate.

Labor Day marks an important opportunity for us to celebrate and honor those who fought for the rights of working Americans.

As a senior member of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, I’ve worked across the aisle to protect America’s workforce for years, and I will always continue fighting to ensure that today’s workforce is empowered and protected.

We’ve come a long way since the beginning of our country’s labor movement, but there is still work to be done to guarantee further progress towards safer workplaces.

I’m honored to represent the hard-working people of CT-02 in Washington and continue to fight for them.
