Happy Labor Day, team!
Today we honor the folks who keep the greatest country in the world running every day. The factory workers, construction workers, mechanics, teachers, trash collectors, nurses, civil servants, farmers, grocery store clerks, and everyone else whose labor builds our communities and holds them together.
To all who fought for labor rights in America—often against threats to their livelihood—we say thank you. But the fight for workers is not over.
We need to pass the PRO Act to expand labor protections and ensure Montanans can collectively bargain for better wages and working conditions.
Will you sign my petition today in support of this important piece of legislation? It’s the most significant workers’ rights bill since the Great Depression, and we need to come together and get this done.
The PRO Act, or the Protecting the Right to Organize Act, is a landmark bill that will strengthen workers’ ability to form a union, collectively bargain for better wages and working conditions, and hold companies that exploit workers accountable.
When workers do better, our economy thrives. Thanks for taking the time to sign onto our petition today.
