This Labor Day, we recognize and celebrate all of the hard-working families that contribute to our economy and our country. All workers have the right to collectively bargain for higher wages, safer working conditions, and more benefits.

I am grateful for all the workers in our district and their contributions to our community. I am committed to fighting for the rights of our workers, that’s why my colleagues and I re-introduced the Farm Workforce Modernization Act that ensures farm workers labor needs are being met.

I will continue to fight to make sure every worker is being treated well and paid fairly at work. Thank you for joining me today in recognizing the diligence of all workers.
