In 1988 I was just a boy who believed that serving in uniform was my highest
calling.



In 2011, I was a man who was proud of my service and sacrifice on behalf of
Americans and Afghans.



In 2021 I began losing trust in our political and military leaders.



And today… It’s gotten so bad that I can honestly say that I don’t want my
kids to follow the path that I did by serving my country in the military.




Friend,



I’ll never be ashamed of my military service. Serving my country is, was, and
will always be my highest calling.



But I have to say I’m worried about the state of our military today.



Joe Biden, emboldened by his far-left allies, would rather train our military
to fight culture wars than real wars.

Our nation’s top military academies are teaching cadets divisive critical race
theory and gender ideology.



With enemies like China, Russia, and Iran becoming more powerful than ever, we
can’t afford to have a military that cares more about what pronouns to use than
combat.



Friend, when I get to the U.S. Senate, I’ll prioritize building up our
military to meet the challenges we’re facing in this modern, dangerous world.
