Today we honor the hardworking Americans who keep our country running every day, and the unions that stand with us in the fight for fair pay, benefits, and better working conditions.

Unions brought us the five day work week, the eight hour work day, and safer workplaces. But the fight is still not over: We need to raise wages, protect the right to organize, make healthcare more affordable, and fight back against dangerous “right-to-work” laws across the country.

So, thank you to all the hardworking Americans and unions who keep our country going! Let us continue standing with one another and making progress for working families.
