John — North Carolina was built by working folks.
Today, we celebrate the workers, organizers, and unions who every day help us to build an economy where North Carolina’s working families can thrive — that a full day’s work can pay the bills, that folks get the good pay and benefits they’ve earned, and that workers have the right to organize to make their jobs better.
When workers are united, their voices are that much stronger. Labor has been key to ensuring that workers get their fair share — but I know that there’s still so much more we can do to make North Carolina the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
We can tackle the high cost of living, cut taxes for working folks, raise the minimum wage, and make sure that if you work hard, you can get ahead. North Carolina thrives when our working families thrive.
John, I look forward to doing all I can for working families as your next governor.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Labor Day Weekend.
Best,
Josh Stein
