Like most Americans, when the first news of this weekend’s awful tragedies broke, our thoughts were with the victims and their families.
But the anti-gun media and politicians in BOTH parties wasted no time to use them to push their gun control agenda.
In fact, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said:
. . . before quickly announcing a deal on so-called “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Orders -- even though he admitted they almost certainly would “. . . not have mattered here.”
Graham and his statist pals in BOTH parties been biding their time . . . waiting for the perfect moment to swoop down and devour our Second Amendment freedoms.
Sadly, the sick and senseless shootings in Texas and Ohio over the weekend are exactly what all the anti-gunners and their pals in the national media have been waiting for.
In a misguided attempt to win over 2020 voters that won’t support him anyway, President Trump tweeted this morning that he’s ready to deal on Universal Background Checks (Nationwide Gun Registration) in exchange for supporting an immigration reform plan complete with a National ID database system since Congress has refused to build the wall.
Worse yet, President Trump jumped in front of the cameras and out-right called for expanded background checks and “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation.
That’s why it’s vital you sign your NO DEALS! NO GUN CONTROL! petition IMMEDIATELY.
Led by Beto O’Rourke, who as member of Congress represented El Paso, Democrat presidential candidates have ratcheted up the anti-gun rhetoric.
Unsurprisingly, in the wake of these shootings, the media is relentlessly parroting Michael Bloomberg and the Gun Control Lobby’s talking points and pushing O’Rourke’s narrative that President Trump and Republicans are responsible.
Now, the president and numerous GOP politicians -- even supposedly self-proclaimed “pro-gun” legislators -- are heeding the same terrible advice they followed after the 2018 Parkland, Florida murders.
They’re playing right into the anti-gun statists’ hands like they did then, when President Trump made Senator Dianne Feinstein downright giddy when he told Republicans to add parts of her Assault Weapons Ban to Senators Pat Toomey and Joe Manchin’s Nationwide Gun Registration bill.
Following that advice was a disaster for them in 2018 mid-terms, but they don’t seem to have learned from it -- and they’re preparing to RAM even more monstrous gun control schemes down our throats that could include everything from bans on certain types of firearms and magazines to Nationwide Gun Registration and “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation.
I’m afraid without your immediate action, you and I are all but certain to see our Second Amendment freedoms steamrolled by these blatantly UNCONSTITUTIONAL schemes.
The good news is, the president has demonstrated he’ll ignore the media elites and is willing to listen to grassroots Americans like you.
