Happy Labor Day weekend, team!

For many people, Labor Day means a 3 day weekend. But this holiday reminds me of my grandparents, especially my grandmother.

She was a union leader for a ball-bearing plant back in the day – not a typical job for a woman, especially a woman of color. That’s her in the middle.

I will always advocate for workers’ rights. People deserve to make an honest living and have access to proper benefits without facing dangerous or inhumane conditions.

From steelworkers to public school teachers to social workers and nurses, every American should be protected in the workplace. Will you chip in to my campaign so I can fight for workers across the country?
