Union organizing is on the rise, and approval is high. Workers are organizing at some of the most well-known companies in America including Amazon, Apple, Chipotle, Google, Kickstarter, REI, Starbucks, and Trader Joe’s.

And it’s no surprise–unionized workers have, on average, higher pay and better benefits. Unions help close racial wage gaps and improve the health and safety of workplaces. Unions put we-the-people’s needs ahead of corporate juggernauts.

And workers know their worth and are rightfully demanding their needs be met: Flight attendants, automakers, teachers, nurses, hotel housekeepers, UPS drivers, and writers and actors are standing up to Big Corporation right now and are leading this labor movement.

This Labor Day, Congress, too, can show support for American workers by dismantling existing barriers to union organizing and collective bargaining.

The Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act, reintroduced in Congress in March, expands workers’ rights on the job. It protects workers’ right to come together and bargain for higher wages, better benefits, and safer workplaces. It would strengthen the ability of workers to form unions and engage in collective bargaining for better working conditions.

Despite the clear need for this legislation, corporate interests like Amazon and Google have spearheaded anti-union campaigns to prevent such crucial changes. We've witnessed the PRO Act progress through the House only to hit a wall in the Senate. But with your help, we can overcome these hurdles.

By signing this petition, you're not only standing up for workers' rights, but you're also fighting for economic and racial equity. You're sending a clear message to Congress - that it's time for them to stand with working families across the country.
