Happy Labor Day, team!

I hope you'll remember that Labor Day is more than a day off for some or a chance for one last cookout.

Labor Day is about recognizing that we're stronger when we lift up workers and look out for one another. The rights and advantages we enjoy today are all thanks to the dedicated efforts of the American Labor Movement.

Today is a reminder of the tireless struggles that secured the eight-hour workday, weekends, overtime pay, safer workplaces, and vital social safety nets like Social Security and Medicare. Today let's not only remember these milestones but also recommit ourselves to the ongoing fight to secure equitable workplaces nationwide.

Today and every day, let's celebrate and recognize the significant strides of the American labor movement and the renewal of our dedication to the welfare of working people.
