Chris here, and I just wanted to take a moment to wish you a happy Labor Day. Today is about you, John, the labor movement, and our proud Western PA history.
Western PA is hallowed ground for the labor movement. We are the people who made the steel that built America. We’ve fought our country’s wars, cared for our young and sick, patrolled our streets, ran into the flames, drove the buses, built the roads and highways, and so much else. We’ve worked hard and sacrificed because that’s who we are. We love this country. These values are in our blood.
And today, on Labor Day, we all stand in solidarity with workers across this country and rededicate ourselves to the fight for dignity for all.
I'm running for reelection because the union way of life must be strong and workers in America need a better deal. Corporate jagoffs and the politicians who do their dirty work have been hurting folks around here for far too long. That must end.
As a guy who stood alongside the Steelworkers in the struggle for a union, I know these fights aren’t easy. Corrupt politicians and the mega corporations that fund them don't care about unions, workers, and working families. No more profits over people, no more screwing over workers, no more outsourcing jobs to China and all over the planet to squeeze out a few more pennies in profit on the backs of hard-working Americans. We should be making things in this country, we should be making them with union workers, and we should be making them right here in Western PA.
I'm committed to growing domestic manufacturing and the jobs that power it. We need to grow our economy from the middle out by investing in our workers and unions – not stock buybacks and bonuses for corporate bosses.
On Labor Day, I hope you’ll join me in committing to the fight for workers and against raw corporate power. Will you help me fight for workers' rights and hard-earned benefits here in Western PA?

Thank you for all that you do, John.
In solidarity,
– Chris Deluzio
