Happy Labor Day, team! 

We hope you’re enjoying the long weekend and getting some much needed rest and relaxation. 

And as you’re doing that, make sure you thank a union. Unions played a key role in building the American middle class. 

From ending child labor to establishing weekends and the 40-hour work week, unions have delivered the protections and security the American working class needs and deserve. 

We’ve got much more work to do on this front though, friend. 

These hard fought union victories continue to be under attack by the GOP, and any efforts to expand support for workers - such as raising the minimum wage or guaranteeing paid family and medical leave - are never even brought for a vote.
