Hi John, it’s Betsy, Nikki’s campaign manager.
Happy Labor Day weekend! I hope everyone is enjoying time with friends and family, and soaking in the “last” weekend of summer.
With the summer months coming to an end, that means that campaign season is in full swing with only 134 days until the first votes take place. Get excited because we are closer than ever to WINNING the White House!
I have some exciting updates to share from the campaign trail this week. Check out my memo below to read more.

CAMPAIGN STRATEGY UPDATE AS OF 09/03/2023:
This week, one thing was made extremely clear. Our campaign is catching fire, and we’re NOT stopping now!
This is our moment. Polls show Nikki surging in Iowa and New Hampshire, while other candidates are dropping quickly.
Now is the time to double down and push Nikki to the front of the pack. We CAN do this!
→ Fundraising Update: After Nikki’s stand-out debate performance last week, we experienced a massive wave of support which resulted in groundbreaking fundraising numbers! Our campaign raised $1 MILLION in the first 72 hours after the debate.

It provides our campaign with the resources to ramp up our voter outreach efforts, host more events, and amplify Nikki’s message even further.

It also provides clear proof that Americans are ready to defeat Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and elect Nikki our NEXT president!
→ Event Update: Nikki held her FIRST campaign event in South Carolina since the presidential debate took place. Supporters in her home state poured in, with over 1,000 people in attendance. To put it in perspective, the crowd was so big, Nikki stopped by not one, not two, but three overflow rooms to greet voters.

UPDATE ON OUR GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT:
As we have officially begun a new month, I wanted to take a moment to reflect back on last month. Thanks to grassroots support, our campaign CRUSHED our August fundraising goal.
But we can’t stop here. Now that we have the first debate in the books, we need to hold more town halls, ramp up our voter outreach efforts, and continue to amplify Nikki’s message even further than ever before. But, with that comes higher stakes and more costs for our campaign.

My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, stood up for Israel even when others refused, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
