Hi, Tammy
told me I should reach out. Before I ask you to chip in to help me win in
Ohio and keep the Senate blue, I need to take a moment to explain why I'm
in this fight and what your grassroots contribution would mean today.

I grew up in Mansfield, Ohio, in a community of ironworkers, carpenters,
autoworkers, and electricians. I spent summers working on my family's
farm. Today, I live in Cleveland with my wife, Connie, and our two rescue
dogs, Franklin and Walter.

I’ll be honest with you: Over the years, in Ohio,
we've seen manufacturing jobs shipped overseas because of bad trade deals,
prices skyrocketing as wages failed to keep up, and hopes for a
comfortable retirement dashed. That's why I've devoted my life to fighting
for the Dignity of Work – the idea that hard work should pay off for
everyone, no matter who you are, where you live, or what kind of work you
do.

Every day in the Senate, I’m fighting for you. But I’m facing my toughest
