SIGN THE PETITION

Dear John,

If you watched the State of the Union, you would have witnessed President Trump giving the best argument against late-term abortion imaginable when he introduced to you a 2-year-old girl who was born at just 22 weeks’ gestation and survived through the miracle of modern medicine.

As two life-affirming bills await in the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate, it raises the question…

How can this Congress remain inactive in ending late-term abortion after having met this brave little girl?

This is why we are asking you to participate in one of our most important initiatives of 2020.

Sign our petition in support of the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (S. 3275) and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 311).

With your help, I know that we can rally the support needed to save the lives of countless unborn here in the United States.

One of the most frightening things that I can imagine is that under existing abortion laws, the United States is among only one of seven countries in the world where this little girl could have been murdered in her mother’s womb.

As I wrote in my email to you last week, the United States joins China and North Korea in allowing abortion after the point of 20 weeks.

Though the Trump administration has made many great strides towards protecting unborn children in this country.

President Trump had the opportunity to list these accomplishments, most recently, during his speech as the first U.S. President ever to attend the March for Life and during this year’s State of the Union.

But, one disappointment remains… Congress has yet to put a bill on his desk ending late-term abortion.

Let’s join the president’s call to action and demand the U.S. Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (S. 3275) and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 311).

The most polarizing democratic Senators and Presidential candidates often argue that barely any late-term abortions take place, but studies show over 13,000 take place every year.

To protect her once she was born is joyous, but to condemn to death other little girls and boys that are the exact same gestation age just because they haven’t been born yet is heinous and cruel.

We must protect children—and the value of life—in this country.  We cannot grow weary in this fight.

Sign now to call on the Senate to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act (S. 3275) and the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (S. 311)

Thank you,

Gregory Mertz and the entire CitizenGO Team
