In July, Data and Research Analyst Miguel Carreno Fuentes presented at the 6th LGBTI Political Leaders Conference of the Americas and the Caribbean in Mexico City. Miguel discussed the Williams Institute's research on LGBTI people and policies around the world, including a recent report on the barriers LGBTQ+ people face when accessing justice in Mexico.
The conference welcomed more than 600 LGBTI leaders, public servants, and others working in the field of public policy to share research and resources that could be used for the advancement of LGBTI equality across the Americas and the Caribbean.
