Hello Michigan Democrats!
This Labor Day, we celebrate the history and achievements that the organized labor movement has accomplished in Michigan and across the country. Over the last two and a half years, Democrats have turned the page on failed trickle-down economics, repealed “Right to Work,” and focused on rebuilding the economy so it benefits working families. The incredible contributions of workers continue to power our great state, and our party remains committed to advocating for policies that support workers, promote job growth, and uplift our communities.
There’s so much at stake for workers in this next election, and we must do all we can to maintain control of our legislative majority. MAGA Republicans have a history of pushing policies that favor big corporations, undermine workers’ rights, ship jobs overseas, and leave the middle class behind. Conversely, a Democratic-controlled legislature means policies that prioritize working families, public education, and clean energy manufacturing in our state.
Please join our efforts [[link removed]] and get involved by advocating in your community and uplifting the values that unite us as Democrats. Together, let us remember the historical significance of Labor Day and make the necessary impact to protect our collective futures.
In solidarity,
Lavora
