Hey team, sorry to bug you during the long weekend, but I’ll
try to keep this short.

I’ve been keeping an eye on our ActBlue numbers over the last couple of
days, and I’m worried we’re not getting the boost we need to start
September on a high note.

I figure that before I talk to Angela about it, I’d instead try reaching
out to our grassroots supporters and see if we can’t turn things around
before the end of the weekend.

I know you get a lot of emails about why fundraising goals are so
important, from getting the word out about Angela’s record and policies,
to connecting with voters in every corner of Maryland.

But spending all my time at Alsobrooks HQ gives me a different
perspective, so here’s how I think of these things:

Every dollar we raise is maybe another phone call we can make, or another
door we can knock on. It might be one more piece or mail or an extra yard
sign. On its own, it might not seem like much.
