Big News: Cheaper Medicine is Coming!

For the first time ever, the government picked 10 medicines that will be cheaper for people on Medicare. This is a big win! Dems beat the Big Pharma last year and passed President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act to make this happen.

More Good News

If you're on Medicare, you can now get insulin for just $35 a month. And starting in 2025, you won't have to pay more than $2,000 a year for your medicines. These changes will help everyone, not just people on Medicare. The President wants to do even more to lower prices.

Why This Matters

Drug companies have been stopping Medicare from making medicines cheaper. They spent millions to keep prices high. But Dems finally beat them, and now Medicare can negotiate better prices.

What the Experts Say

The New York Times says this will save the government and families a lot of money. Some medicines that cost thousands of dollars now will be much cheaper. This will also help lower insurance costs for many people who are not on Medicare.
