Statement on? Maine Democrats Blocking Republican Candidate Ballot Access in 2024

?Secretary of State Bellows and Attorney General Frey are conspiring to make a decision on keeping a Republican presidential candidate elected by the people of the United States off the Republican primary ballot in Maine.

What is ironic about this is that both Bellows and Frey themselves were not chosen by the people of Maine but by partisan politicians in Augusta. We would caution them both to not contribute to leading the United States down the path of a banana republic by conspiring to keep popular candidates off the ballot. They must allow the people of the United States, and the great State of Maine to decide their elections.

The fact that partisan Democrats are even considering this adds to the growing distrust people have regarding our political system.?
