In just a minute I am going to ask you to contribute to Josh Riley’s campaign for Congress in New York’s 19th District — one of the most competitive races in the country.

If that’s all you need to hear, please use this link to contribute directly to Josh’s campaign. 100% of your donation will go toward flipping this seat blue.

Otherwise, give me a chance to explain.

Earlier this summer, The Long Run proudly endorsed Josh Riley’s campaign for Congress because we knew how critical it is that he has as much support as possible.

Josh grew up in his district in a working-class neighborhood in Endicott, NY. Josh saw his community struggle firsthand but worked to put himself through school and graduated from Harvard Law.

He has the experience he needs to lead on day one in Congress, working as Senate Counsel for former Senator Al Franken. During his time as a Senate aide, Josh worked on bills to expand rights for survivors of domestic violence and provide additional funding for mental health and addiction treatment.

Now, Josh is running in one of NY’s toughest races. Last cycle, he fell just short of flipping this same seat, nearly defeating his Republican opponent Marcus Molinaro. He lost 50.8% to 49.2%, one of the closest margins in the nation.

He was just shy of the votes he needed last year, but this time we are going to help him make it across the finish line.

So what do you say? Can you please contribute directly to Josh Riley’s campaign for Congress?
