Elections Are About Setting Priorities
Will the next chapter of Nashville represent you?
Alice isn't part of Nashville's permanent political class - and you can see that, and feel that, in the way they are lodging personal attacks against her and her family.
Why? Because they can't win on the facts or the issues at stake in this election. So much unites us - and with this election we can send that message of support we are ready to elect a leader brave enough to challenge the status quo.
- Managing our city within our growing and considerable means IS possible - electing Alice means you believe the tax-and-spend culture at City Hall needs a check against runaway spending and we need an entrepreneurial leader ready to think differently about how to raise revenues WITHOUT raising YOUR taxes.
- Our schools need to be responsive to parents - when the ENTIRE school board lines up to protect the status quo which has gotten us to a place where we are ranked 94th and 95th out of ALL 95 counties ([link removed] ) - we can, and we must elect Alice to send a message that we CAN do better for the safety of our schools and our teachers, and to improve outcomes for ALL kids.
- Our police need to be supported - the Fraternal Order of Police endorsed Alice because the alternative candidate continues to believe we don't need more police, we just need to commission yet ANOTHER study before he can support tools - like License Plate Readers ([link removed] ) - that have helped solve crime and get justice for victims of crime.
Electing Alice means we don't want Nashville to follow the recipe book that has failed other big cities.
This is our chance to get Nashville back on track. Read on to get involved with the campaign.
Sincerely,
Casey Newcomer

Safer Cities, Strong Police
Did you know that Boston has about 3 officers per thousand residents? In Nashville we have about 2 officers per thousand residents. Alice is honored to have the endorsement of the Fraternal Order of Police and, unlike her opponent, believes that we need to expand our force to improve public safety.
