Dear Reader:
On Thursday, we wrapped up our summer recurring donor drive. We set out in July to welcome 65 new people to the GGWash Neighborhood. Thanks to you, we exceeded our goal! 75 people set up new recurring monthly or annual contributions, adding up to $514 in new monthly revenue for GGWash and a total of $7,875 per year.
Your contributions are, hands down, what make it possible for us to continue to publish important stories every day on land use, housing, and transportation in the region. We are so grateful.
This past week, our content was all Metro, all the time. We’re in the middle of a two-week Metro-thon, with deep dives into our region’s transit agency. This week’s stories included a vision for one million Metro trips, the history of its east-west bottleneck issues, concerns about the proposed Blue Line Loop – plus a record-setting Metro speedrun.
Speaking of rail transit, from 5-9 pm on September 27, we’re hosting our third annual Fall Mixer at Metrobar. Tickets start at $30 and proceeds support GGWash. We hope to see you there!
