Dear Friend, My name is Mele Nyeleti and I work with farming families in Mkushi and Luano in rural Zambia. I am pleased to share that your autumn newsletter is here! In your newsletter, I share more about how we work with schools in Zambia and the impact your generosity makes across rural Africa. One family your support makes a difference to is Agness'. I recently met with Agness (pictured above), a grandmother living on the front line of the climate crisis in eastern Zambia. Agness told me how in the past, she was able to grow enough food to feed her family. But as the climate crisis has worsened and weather conditions have become erratic, her crops often fail – forcing her family back into poverty. |
