It's been another busy week at America First Legal. This week, we filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court asking them to protect the First Amendment rights of pro-life sidewalk counselors  by hearing the case of Debra Vitagliano, a practicing Catholic challenging an unconsitutional West Chester County , New York, ordinance. This ordinance  requires pro-life advocates and sidewalk counselors to stay eight feet away from anyone entering and leaving abortion clinics, while allowing clinic escorts and pro-abortion advocates to approach them at will.  We also launched an investigation into the CDC's radical "transgender" parent breastfeeding guidance. It appears that the CDC is promoting the use of off-label drugs to induce lactation, while failing to warn adults of the risks involved in taking these medications. America First Legal Files Brief to Protect the First Amendment Rights of Pro-Life Sidewalk Counselors  

 

America First Legal (AFL) has filed a brief asking the Supreme Court of the United States to hear the case of Debra Vitagliano v. County of Westchester, No. 23-74. AFL is also asking the Court to overrule Hill v. Colorado, 530 U.S. 703 (2000),  an egregious ruling that censors pro-life sidewalk counselors and allows them to be criminally prosecuted if they approach or attempt to speak with pregnant women outside an abortion clinic.
