Colleen grew up in the slums of Zimbabwe. Abused as a teenager, she found herself with a newborn and no way to provide for him. 

But despite the struggles, she did not give up. Instead she determined that if her life ever improved, she would turn around and help others in her situation. Nine years later, she did just that. What she started has made a tremendous impact on the lives of children, including the life of a little girl from the slums.
