Route 5 Stop #5940 Phinney Avenue N & N 54th Street (Southbound) will be relocated Friday, September 1 at 8 a.m. through Tuesday, September 5 at 4 p.m. due to street repair work;

Routes 44, 45, 65, 67, 73, 75, 255, and 372 will be affected in the Montlake area on Saturday, September 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the Husky football game;

Routes 221, 226, 240, 241, 245 and 271 will not serve Stop #67014 Eastgate P&R & 140th Avenue SE - Bay 1 (Westbound) from 10:15 - 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, September 2 during Husky Service Shuttles; serving Bay 2 instead;

Routes 221, 226, 245, and 255 will be rerouted from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 3 during The Flavors of India Parade;

Routes 230, 231 and 255 continues to be rerouted off a portion of Market Street on weekdays (including Labor Day) through Friday, September 8 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to construction;

- Head down to the Seattle Center for Bumbershoot on Saturday and Sunday;?
- The Huskies will host the Boise State Broncos at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at?Husky Stadium;
- OL Reign have a match on Saturday, September 2 at 3 p.m. at?Lumen Field;
- The Sounders have a match on Sunday, September 3 at 7:30 p.m. at?Lumen Field;

West Seattle Water Taxi?summer schedule?has begun. Weekday service runs from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., weekend service from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., and additional late night runs on Fridays and Saturdays until 11 p.m.;?

Seattle Center Monorail?will operate 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, this weekend.?The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
- Holiday service on Labor Day, September 4 will be 8:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.?
- This is the last weekend of the season to enjoy Trailhead Direct service?to Mt. Si, Little Si and Mt. Tenriffe;
- Traihead Direct season ends after Monday, September 4;

Metro service change and?schedule adjustments?beginning Sept 2
King County Metro will adjust its transit schedules this Saturday, Sept 2, to improve trip reliability for riders.??
To better match transit service with bus and workforce availability, King County Metro has planned temporary service reductions.?Metro will suspend 20 peak-only commuter routes and reduce service on 12 routes beginning September 2. Alternatives are available for nearly all affected routes.?

Take King County Metro to Husky football games this fall
The nationally ranked University of Washington Huskies take the field on?Saturday, Sept. 2?for the first of seven home games, including the 2023 Apple Cup.
Park-and-Ride express shuttle bus service Metro buses will operate?express shuttle service?on Husky home game days from?three designated?park and ride lots:
- Eastgate Park-and-Ride
- Kingsgate Park-and-Ride
- South Kirkland Park-and-Ride
With the purchase of a UW season bus pass or UW game day bus pass, fans can park in the park-and-ride lots and travel stress-free to and from Husky Stadium.?For riders with a season bus pass, shuttle service is also available at the?Redondo and Shoreline park-and-rides.
Dawgs on the Bus:?There are routes that will take you to?Sound Transit Link light rail, which will bring you right to Husky Stadium and ONE DOZEN (12) Metro routes (Routes 43, 44, 45, 48, 65, 67, 73, 75, 167, 255, 271, 372) that will bring you a short distance from the stadium?just follow the purple and the gold!

Trailhead Direct season ends Monday, September 4th; grab the hiking boots, leave the car!
King County?s?Trailhead Direct?will run through Labor Day, Monday, September 4.?Riders can take the bus, Sound Transit Link light rail, or bike to get to the Sound Transit Capitol Hill Link station, where Trailhead Direct coaches will depart every 30 minutes.?
This season,?Trailhead Direct?continues to focus the transit-to-trails service on the most popular route?with?stops at trailheads near Mount Si, Mount Teneriffe, and Little Si.?
Passengers are encouraged to check for conditions and updates related to trail accessibility and restrictions before going out and to remember?the rules of the trail?to ensure a safe trip.
