This week, I joined my colleagues to honor the last living survivor of the attack on USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor, Commander Lou Conter of California. We will never forget the courage, bravery, and heroism of our Greatest Generation.

Team Young was honored to recognize the City of Mission Viejo, CA Marines of The Quarter with the Mission Viejo Marines and Sailors Adoption Committee. Congrats to Sgt Hermanet, Cpl Agyemang, Cpl Antle and LCpl Torres, and thank you for your service. Semper Fi!
Congress must be able to find common ground to get things done for the American people. That's why I introduced the Building Unity Through Dual Sponsors (BUDS) Resolution this week to bolster bipartisan collaboration.
Since day one, I have fought to break through the partisan gridlock, bring some commonsense to Washington, and get things done. The BUDS Resolution reflects this commitment and aims to encourage more bipartisanship and ensure we focus on delivering results for our constituents over petty infighting. I am proud to introduce this commonsense bill and am hopeful we can get this across the finish line.

Team Young joined the Tustin Community Foundation to celebrate those giving back in Tustin through important nonprofit work.
Not all heroes wear capes, and I am so grateful for our local superheroes making a difference in our CA-40 communities. Congratulations!

Dr. King gave his historic "I Have A Dream" speech 60 years ago this week.
To this day, we remember MLK’s words and fight to make this dream a reality, so all Americans are judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin.

Attention all CA-40 Veterans! VA Long Beach, the OC Veterans and Military Families Collaborative, and the Tierney Center for Veteran Services is hosting a Veteran Stand Down and Resources event in Tustin on September 13th at 8 am.

CA-40 Veterans: The PACT Act is giving Veterans who served in combat zones a special enrollment opportunity to directly enroll in VA health care by midnight on 9/30.
