If you were disappointed by the Supreme Court's ruling that federal courts can't place limits on partisan gerrymandering, you certainly weren't alone. Justice Elena Kagan authored a fiery dissent in which she warned that "someplace along this road, 'we the people' become sovereign no longer."

But while it's no surprise that the Court's conservative majority (including Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh) voted to greenlight Republican gerrymanders, we have to keep fighting to make sure they don't get the final say.
