| Hi John,
As the government borrows more and more, it steals investment funds from the private sector and starves its ability to create better jobs. Without more economic growth, the government’s debt becomes even larger in a vicious cycle. What can we do to stop this—and fatten the wallets of everyday Americans?
My name is Kurt Couchman, Senior Fellow in Fiscal Policy here at Americans for Prosperity.
I develop and support innovative solutions to federal and state budget challenges while promoting fiscal outcomes that expand freedom, prosperity, and opportunity.
So I was excited to chat with Mike Gallagher on his show about how we can do just that—tame the beast of runaway government debt in this country.

| Of course, the current president and his big-spending, debt-increasing, money-printing “Bidenomics” gave us inflation and he is making the looming fiscal crisis far worse.
I remain hopeful we can fix this problem though—and I encourage you to listen in to my interview with Mike where I highlight new solutions to make this easier. Congress needs better systems to control the debt, increase the value we get from taxpayer dollars, and to support an opportunity economy.
Thanks, - Kurt Kurt Couchman Senior Fellow, Fiscal Policy Americans for Prosperity
