We eagerly anticipate engaging discussions and rich learning opportunities in our upcoming slate of webinars scheduled for September. Less than a week apart, these webinarswill explore the broader themes of missional discipleship in our current cultural context.
Our National Director, Lisa Rodriguez- Watson, will host a dialogue with the renowned missiologist, church planter, and longtime Friend of Missio, Alan Hirsch. Together, they will delve into the essential need to re-center our faith on a Christological vision, placing Jesus at the core of all our endeavors as we engage in the missional proclamation of the Gospel in our world today.
Lisa Watson-Rodriguez, along with a panel of seasoned discipleship practitioners, including Eun Strawser, Deb Hirsch, Paul Maconochie, and Yucan Chiu, will explore why people, regardless of age, are drawn to Jesus but often feel disconnected from traditional church structures. They will emphasize the universal longing for purpose, belonging, healing, and the role of mentors in nurturing Christ-likeness. Together, they'll discuss moving discipleship from the periphery to the center of our mission for a more tangible impact in our communities.
Both webinars aim to create a safe and open space for challenging dialogues on critical aspects of missional discipleship during these turbulent times. Your voice is needed.
