I am so excited about Green Tie Madison! Join us in less than three weeks [[link removed]] , on Sept 20, for our annual celebration of conservation and the people who make it happen.
People who work on serious issues need a chance to have some fun. We’re all coming to Green Tie Madison [[link removed]] because of the issues we care about, not just a shared love of farm-to-table snacks and green shawls.
This year we are recognizing Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Laura Schulte with a Conservation Action Award for her impactful reporting on PFAS in Wisconsin. Laura’s work provided critical information to Wisconsin residents [[link removed]] and policymakers about PFAS in our water [[link removed]] , and many other environmental concerns [[link removed]] . She’s also “probably out hiking or reading a book” according to her twitter biography, and still writing about PFAS [[link removed]] .
