Hello and Happy Friday!
The Lowcountry got hit by Hurricane Idalia this week. Thankfully it was nothing we haven’t seen before, but we are here to serve those affected in whatever way we can. Our office remains in communication with local leaders on how we can best assist. Wednesday morning we got the opportunity to tour the Charleston City EMS hurricane preparedness center. We are lucky to be served by some of the best in emergency response. We thank them for their leadership and courage.
Earlier this week, we joined Jesse Watters Primetime to discuss the Biden family corruption ring. It was Obama who famously said, “Don’t underestimate Joe Biden’s ability to F- things up.” Why would the President lie if there is nothing to hide? Why use pseudonyms if you did nothing wrong? GOP oversight has seen damning evidence and heard testimony, but will continue to pursue the whole truth and publish it to the American people. Then the American public can decide for themselves, instead of blindly trusting Congress. Watch more here.
On September 9th, the South Carolina Congressional Delegation will be holding a Service Academy Day at the USS Yorktown from 11:00am to 1:30pm. This is a great chance to meet with representatives from all 5 military service academies and learn about the process for receiving a nomination for interested students. RSVP Here.
Our office has recently started a new series called “Sunday Sunsets.” If you live in the district and want to show off your beautiful sunset picture, drop it here.
Lowcountry residents! We’re looking for more District Dog submissions! Drop the information on your pup here.
As you all may know, when we aren’t in DC, we are hosting one of our Lowcountry events such as Coffee or Cocktails With Your Congresswoman. To stay in the loop on when we hold our events, stay subscribed to our newsletter and follow our Eventbrite page!
We are always here to assist you with any issues or concerns. Please feel free to reach out to us.
It is an honor to serve each and every one of you.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
|
