The New York Times said it – Liz Whitmer Gereghty is the dream recruit Democrats need to re-capture NY-17. 

This week, Liz’s interview with The New York Times was released, and it paints the right picture: Liz is a mother, a former small business owner, a member of the Katonah-Lewisboro School board, and speaks passionately about abortion rights, but she is not the only one in this race. Her opponent in the Democratic Primary left NY-17 to run in Brooklyn, he lost, and he’s moving back up north.

We know the most important thing we need to do is make sure Mike Lawler is a one term congressman—and that means having the strongest candidate possible in the general election.
