Thanks to your support last month, our grassroots campaign surpassed our August fundraising goal.

As the summer comes to an end, I am energized by the amount of volunteers, supporters, and endorsers that have rallied behind our campaign. It’s a sure sign that our movement is gaining momentum when it matters most.

In a toss-up district like ours, every last dollar makes a difference. That’s why I’m so glad that we hit our fundraising goal -- now we need to build upon our progress.

The next few months will be some of the most important for the future of this campaign. With your support, and the support of recent key endorsers like Rep. Adam Schiff and the Santa Clarita Valley Democratic Club, I know we can continue to pressure GOP Rep. Mike Garcia in the polls and on the campaign trail.

But for now, I want to thank you for standing with us in the fight. I hope you have a safe and restful Labor Day weekend.
