Last night, we wrapped up a campaign to welcome 65 new people to the GGWash Neighborhood, our recurring donor program.
I won’t bury the lede: we did it – and then some!
75 people set up new recurring monthly or annual contributions, adding up to $514 in new monthly revenue for GGWash and $7,875 annually. GGWash is now supported by a total of nearly 650 recurring donors, tipping our total monthly revenue from these sustaining contributions past $5,000 per month for the first time ever.
Thank you for making this happen.
What does $5,000 per month mean for GGWash? It’s equal to about 16 paid freelance stories. It covers the cost of planning and hosting four meet-ups around the region. It adds up to a one-semester internship for a student. Above all: it has a tangible impact. These flexible funds make GGWash more resilient and sustainable, and are absolutely essential to our work.
Thank you for believing in GGWash, and thank you for being part of the effort to make the Washington region more equitable, sustainable, connected, and just.
