Hi there,

The story of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) in the United States is far from a single narrative -- it consists of many unique experiences and remarkable contributions.

Pete recognizes that we must overcome the challenges facing AAPI communities by understanding the distinct barriers that affect each community and developing a comprehensive strategy to dismantle them. To read our full agenda for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, click here. [##]

The diversity of AAPI communities includes Americans from over 30 countries of origin and ethnic groups, who speak over 100 different languages.

We must not only recognize this diversity but also address the specific challenges that AAPIs of different backgrounds face. This means understanding the experiences of every sub-group within the AAPI population. It means ensuring that every AAPI voice and vote is counted. It also means celebrating the culture and history of AAPIs and their invaluable role in America’s past, present, and future.

Pete’s extensive investments in education, health, immigration reform, and economic growth will work together as a holistic agenda to empower AAPI families. He will ensure that AAPI individuals have a sense of security and a feeling of belonging in a nation that values their diverse stories and contributions. We hope you’ll click here to see our plan in full. [##]

Thank you,

Pete for America
