We think you'll love it.
Hi, friend.
Looks like you're interested in learning more about Preaching in a Post-Christian Age. Can I tell you something personal?
I love going to TLC conferences. Yes, it's my job. I put events together as part of my work for this historic magazine and ministry. But I also enjoy Living Church conferences. Some of the ways folks have described our events (and I agree):
Like a family reunion.
Connected me with friends and fellow travelers in an environment that was not contentious or embattled, but full of joy, camaraderie, and the Holy Spirit.
Helped me reflect on ministry -- on the person rather than "the job."
[Got an] opportunity to meet and talk with people from many different parts of the Anglican Communion.
Focus on shared orthodoxy.
An inspiring and joyful experience.
Content and hospitality were amazing.
Preparing for TLC conferences, we focus on and pray for great speakers, thoughtful hosting, good weather -- all the things event planners hope for. But above all, we pray for the refreshment and Spirit renewal of all Christian leaders who gather with us. We pray for joy and new friendships. We believe that in three days, the Lord can do a lot.
Preacher, if you need some time to re-center, if you need some professional development, if you want a few days in an encouraging and supportive environment, we'd love to welcome you to NYC in November.
